The mission of the Church of the Mediator is to share God's unconditional love with each other and the larger society.
Outreach Committee
This committee distributes funds raised by the annual BBQ. Some of
groups helped in the past include Care Lodge, LOVE's Kitchen,
Hope Village for Children, and the Boys and Girls Club. Other
projects this group helped to fund are the Mediator Playground and
the Mediator Baseball team. Gayle Gray is Chair.

Hospital Ministry
Volunteers visit all Episcopal patients in the three Meridian hospitals.
Home visits are also made upon request. Nearly 500 in-hospital visits
were made in 2004. Faye Horn is the Chair of this group.

The Flower Guild & Delivery
This is a new Mediator ministry. This group of artists, professional
gardners, and amateurs are responsible for the enhancement of our
altar, chapel, sanctuary, and churchyard. The altar flowers are then
delivered to the sick and shut in. We are searching for a new chair for
flower delivery. Please contact the church office if you can help!

Evangelism
This group develops ways to make the Mediator an inviting and
welcoming place. The Greeters are present at each service to
welcome and assist new comers and visitors.

Birthday Card Ministry
Birthday and Anniversary cards are sent to each and every
member of the Mediator family, thanks to Caroline Wilson.

Pastoral Care Committee
This group provides food to families following the birth of a new baby, hospital
stay, or death in the family.

St. Monica's Prayer Guild
This is Mediator's prayer chain. This group passes prayer requests
to one another once notified of the request. To be a part of this, call
Julia Clarie Mitchell.

To find out more about, or to become active in, any of these or other ministry opportunities, contact the church office or the chairperson listed!

Then the King will say, "I'm telling the solemn truth: whenever you did one thing to someone overlooked or ignored, that was me....you did it to me."
